West Virginia Mountaineers (3-1) (Big East)-Syracuse Orange (2-3) (Big East)

This a series that has been dominated by West Virginia, with the Mountaineers winners of seven straight including 17-6 in 2008. The Mountaineers come in on the heels of a 35-24 defeat of Colorado, while Syracuse was outmanned by South Florida 34-20.
Syracuse fought South Florida tooth and nails for 30 minutes, unfortunately the game was played for 60 minutes and the Bulls 20-0 third quarter blitz was enough to put them over the top.
Both teams had pitiful games last week as far as turnovers are concerned and the most important fact is that West Virginia had the talent to overcome them and win. While I think Doug Marrone already has Syracuse pointed in the right direction, he needs more time to further straighten things out.
